About Us

Founded in 2023 by Daniel and Jerry Wipf, HL Metalworx is dedicated to delivering high-quality structural steel decking and custom metal fabrication across the Midwest. We understand that every project has its unique set of needs and challenges which is why we pride ourselves on producing the best product for our customers.  

Based near Lake Benton, Minnesota, HL Metalworx operates within the Heartland Hutterite Colony. We have two specialized facilities: A building for cold form structural steel decking and a second building for general metal fabrication, equipped with a plasma/flame cutter, press brake, and welding table. 

To deliver quality structural steel decking and metal fabrication with integrity, to businesses in the Midwest United States, upholding the standards set by ourselves and the Steel Deck Institute.  

Our team of six brings a combined 10 years of industry experience. Our employees live and work in the community, so we understand that we are not only building products but building lasting relationships. We ensure every customer is taken care of with pride and accountability.
