HL Metalworx is a Midwest steel deck manufacturer specializing in cold-formed structural steel decking and metal fabrication. Located in Minnesota, we serve commercial construction and industrial customers throughout the Midwest and across the country with quality steel deck products and fabrication solutions.

Founded in 2023 by Daniel and Jerry Wipf, HL Metalworx was established to provide structural steel decking and metal fabrication solutions across the Midwest. Located near Lake Benton, Minnesota within the Heartland Hutterite Colony, our team brings a combined 10 years of industry experience to every project.

We understand that every project has its own unique needs and challenges, which is why we pride ourselves on producing the right solutions for our customers.  

Our Minnesota facility has two specialized facilities: A building for cold-formed structural steel decking and a second building for general metal fabrication, equipped with a plasma/flame cutter, press brake, and welding table. Through efficient production and a commitment to quality workmanship, Hl Metalworx supports customers throughout the Midwest and across the country. 

Our mission is simple: to deliver structural steel decking and metal fabrication with integrity, to businesses in the Midwest United States, upholding the standards set by ourselves and the Steel Deck Institute. We provide quality products with reliable service and a customer experience built on trust.
